We would like to introduce a new 2v2 domination tournament!
That is 2 bots vs 2 bots, on random domination maps.
You can split 50 nodes between the two bots however you want to.
Only assaults are allowed.
STAGES
1. Stage: Check-in
- You'll have one match against the organizers. The opponent AI might be publicly available on the Gladiabots discord server. The purpose of this stage is to filter out two AFK players matched against each other. If you deploy a valid AI, you will be able to participate in the tournament.
- Format: Best of 1
2. Stage: Qualifiers
- This is a league style stage, which means all the players will play once against every other opponent. The goal of the stage is to rank the participants.
- Format: Best of 3
- Max size: depends on the number of participants.
3. Stage: Finals
- This is a gauntlet style stage. The previously ranked participants enter the stage on different levels. The lowest ranked player plays a match against the second lowest ranked and then the winner can move on to try to defeat the player above them. In the end, one player comes out on top, and he will be declared the winner.
- Format: Best of 3
- Max size: 20 players

KNOWN BUG:
Wrong team setup is displayed when deploying the match.
Possible solution:
"I would visit a page with desired squad setup, such as solo sandbox.
But there is no way to get a squad of 2 this way. So it is to be expected that players will be confused.
Deployed AI are first in order of instaciation, which starts at lower left, moving right then onto upper row" - (Defunct)
To put it simply:
When your squad setup shows more than two bots, please take care to apply your AIs to the two first bots to the left on the front row. Other bots will be ignored.
