Rules
ALL PLAYERS MUST JOIN THE DISCORD FOR THE DUEL ROLE - TO BE TAGGED DURING THE TOURNAMENT <------------
Each player will be assigned a role in order to communicate easier with your matchup opponent.
Only Registered players can play.
All players will post custom lobby keys in the #server-key-posthere channel on Discord and tag their opponent.
LOSER of match must post match results in #match-results-only channel on Discord.
DUEL:
Competitors are expected to compromise on server location to the best of their ability.
Servers must be chosen based on the best possible ping for both players.
If a server cannot be agreed upon, an admin will make the final decision on which server is to be used.
Duration: 12 min
All upper bracket matches will be played in a best of 3 format, except the grand finals, which will be a best of 5.
LOSER BRACKET: BO1
WB Finals - Best of 3
LB Finals - Best of 3.
Winner of Upper Bracket Finals gets 1 map advantage.
In a best of 3 match, the higher seed in each match will pick a map. The lower seed will then pick a map AND ban a map. The higher seed will then ban a map, and the remaining map will be the tiebreaker.
In a best of 5 match, the higher seed in each match will choose the first map. Players will then alternate map picks.

Players are responsible for reaching out to each other on Discord to schedule their next match. If a player does not show up within 15 minutes of being tagged in Discord they will forfeit 1 game. At 20 minutes the player will forfeit the entire match. Players could be asked to wait and join a specific custom lobby created by the admins to make sure that match makes the official stream. Please work with the streamers and admins, we all want to see the best match ups.
If a player disconnects during a game, the match will be paused for him to reconnect. Match will be resumed with the scored being played out as before the disco.
If the game crashes for all players then the lobby will be recreated and resumed when all players have rejoined, the full match will be replayed from start. Losers lucky break rule.
STREAMING:
WB Finals, LB Finals and Grand Finals will be streamed only by the Official GetCracked! channel. No POV streams allowed during any finals match.
Players may be asked to wait or join a specific lobby key made by an admin to make sure that match gest streamed on the official channel, please be patient with the delay.
Players are more than welcome to POV stream any match other than the finals matches.
Players should post their own stream in the #streams channel in the discord for all to see.
Players are encouraged to raid the official main stream if possible. Any help is appreciated with viewers.
No cheating will be tolerated during any of our events. If a player is caught cheating they will be banned from playing in any future events and their team will be disqualified from the tournament immediately.
