Corona Cup Rules
Requirements
Access to FIFA 20 online on Xbox, Playstation 4 or Nintendo Switch
Play one/two game(s) per day
Mixer/Twitch account for streaming - This can be set up with your FIFA account.
Headset (desired but not essential)
Tournament Format
Group play - One fixture vs each player in your group. (Monday-Thursday/Friday)
Every player will play a minimum of 3 games
Top 2 from each group enter The State Cup; 3rd and 4th enter The Presidents Cup.
Playoffs -
Playoffs begin Friday or Saturday
Playoff brackets sizes dependent on number of players.
Knockout rounds are 1 leg only. Highest seed to play at home and classic finish (extra time then penalties) to be used in the event of a tie.
Group play scoring
3 points for a win
1 point for a draw
0 points for a loss.
Tiebreakers - Points -> Goal Difference -> Goals for -> Goals against -> head to head
Rules
Players must add all gamer tags for players in their group as friends in console network.
Players must communicate with opponent for that day by 12pm to arrange time to play. First communication between 12-3 = yellow card. 2 x yellow = red. No communication by 3pm = straight red. Red card = game forfeit.
Games played in online friendly classic match with live form set to ‘on’.
You can play with any CLUB team - No International teams or ‘Select’ Teams (World XI etc)
If a player loses connection within the first 30 minutes of the game, the game can be restarted.
If a player loses connection after the first 30 minutes (or for the second time), the game is forfeit.
Forfeit classed as 3-0 win for the opposition player or current score (whichever is higher).
Both teams to livestream game on mixer/twitch where possible.
All player settings (shot assistance etc) must be set to default. General settings (traditional vs tactical defending etc) can be customized.
