Tournament rules
- If the game goes to flats, a komi of 2 will be added to black's flat count when determining the result.
- Each match will consist of a single game with a time control of 15 minutes + 20 seconds per move. Colors will be determined by the pairing algorithm; the player whose name appears first has white.
- Scoring is 2 point for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss.
- Matches should be organised via the Tak discord server or the Toornament website. In order to claim a win by forfeit you must have tried to make contact via the Toornament website. Note that Toornament doesn't seem to give notifications for new messages, so each game chat must be checked individually. For this reason it is easier to use discord if possible.
- When you report a result please include a link to the game with the format https://www.playtak.com/games/115521/ninjaviewer. This can be found by searching for the game in playtak.com history and copying the ptn.ninja link.
- All games must be completed by midnight PDT on Sunday June 24th. It is strongly advised that you have at least 3 games completed by June 10th and 6 games completed by June 17th. Failure to appear for a match will be considered a forfeit.
