Check-in for the event will close TWO (2) hours before the event begins, at 8:00 AM EST.

IF YOU DO NOT CHECK IN BY THE DEADLINE (2 HOURS PRIOR TO THE EVENT) HERE ON TOORNAMENT.COM, YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE! It is VERY IMPORTANT that you double-check your time conversion to the local time for your time zone, so you do not miss this deadline of 2 hours before the event!

Visit the GGtoor discord for ongoing updates about the event: https://discord.gg/GUhyZxFH8Q
VERY IMPORTANT: You should join the #mm-chat channel of this discord at least 30 minutes before the event begins, and stay there for the duration of the event, to make sure you do not miss any important instructions from the tournament staff!

Modified TEAM MANA FRENZY (MM) Rules:

Just like in normal ranked mode, your opponent has no idea what you're playing; you may queue any Deck (master/cards) you choose in each of the games for the series.... EXCEPT, any card released less than 30 days before the event are banned, and, you and your opponent both wield the might of The BanHammer! Before the first game of the match, each player may elect to use this power to create the following restrictions for that match:

1. Each player gets a Single Master Ban.
2. A Player may also either A) name/ban up to 2 cards, which the opponent would not be allowed to use, -OR-. B) disallow the opponent from using any WildCards (have a maximum deck size of 10 cards.)
2a. IF BOTH Players initially use their BanHammer to ban wildcards, then an additional ban power unlocks for that match, and each of the players may choose to also ban up to 2 cards (even if the other player does not elect to use this new power. The additional ban(s), if any, must be stated before the match begins.)

ILLEGAL DECK: Starting the game with an illegal deck will result in the offending player being issued a Game Loss. HOWEVER, if the error is discovered within the first 30 seconds of play, and BOTH players mutually agree to instead restart the game, then they may do so. If either player does not agree to restart, the Game Loss stands. If the game is restarted instead of issuing a game loss, then the offending player must queue with the same deck replacing only the master and/or card(s) that were not allowed. The other player who had a legal deck may queue any legal deck.

Single Master Ban: each match, the competitors may elect to ban one master, and their opponent will not be allowed to play as the banned Master for any game of that match.

Double Elimination: Your first match loss does not eliminate you from the event! You are only knocked out if you lose 2 matches, so you could come back to win the whole event even if do lose a match!

Grand Finals Reset option: A player must lose twice to be eliminated. What this means is that if the winner of the Winner's Bracket match loses in the Grand Finals Match, the Grand Finals will "reset"; the two finalists will play a second best of 5 series to determine the winner.

Each time you are paired against your next opponent, you should reach out the opponent on discord via DM and attempt to arrange joining a 1v1 lobby against them, in order to play your match.

TARDINESS: If your opponent appears to be non-responsive after 3 minutes, ping them AND the tournament staff via a post in the discord channel, alerting everyone that the opponent appears tardy. This applies both to the first game and the subsequent game(s) of the match. If your opponent does not respond/report in for the match within 5 minutes from the time of the first public ping, ping them AND the tournament staff again, and your opponent will be issued a game loss. (If a Best of 3 Series and their first loss, then repeat this process, and they still do not respond within another 5 minutes they will then be issued a match loss.)

DISCONNECTS: If there is a disconnection during a match game, the disconnected player should rejoin the game as quickly as possible and keep playing the game. The game usually should NOT be restarted (unless in special circumstances adjudicated differently, at the sole discretion of the Tournament Staff. )

Age: To be eligible to participate, a player must be at least 13 years old (or such other age, of greater, as may be required in such player’s country of residence). Players between the ages of 13 and 17 (or such other age, if greater, as may be required in such player’s country of residence) must have written permission from a parent or legal guardian (a form will be provided which must be returned in order to complete processing your registration). IF YOU ARE UNDER 18, THE FORM CAN BE FOUND HERE: https://discordapp.com/channels/708790719015551017/761211030927441940/761211331696132116 , PLEASE CONTACT TOURNAMENT STAFF PRIOR TO THE EVENT TO HAVE THE REQUIRED PAPERWORK COMPLETED OR YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE.

IF THERE ARE GENERAL CONNECTION PROBLEMS/INTERRUPTIONS OF THE GAME'S SERVERS, THE EVENT MAY BE SUSPENDED AND RESCHEDULED TO COMPLETE ON A FUTURE DATE.

Cheating of any kind will result in disqualification without prizes from the event, and being banned from all future events. If you are in a match where you believe your opponent cheated, please send any evidence you may have to the tournament staff. In addition to Hacking, "CHEATING" ALSO INCLUDES USING ANY BUG OR UNINTENDED EXPLOIT THAT EXISTS IN THE GAME, intentionally or unintentionally. If this somehow happens to you unintentionally, you should immediately alert your opponent and tournament staff - if you don't, you will be deemed to have been Cheating, and you will be disqualified without prizing and banned from all future events.

OPTIONAL: We realize not every player can do this, so this is not mandatory: If you have the capability, live streaming and/or recording video of all of your matches is a good idea, to help eliminate any possibility of any dispute arising as to performance in a given match.

Sportsmanlike conduct is expected. You are NOT allowed to be disruptive or grief your opponent in Real Life, such as in any Discord or Twitch chat (or any other actions that could be considered unsportsmanlike conduct except for actions intended to be allowed within the game itself as part of normal game-play.) If you do, your actions may result in a game loss, match loss, or disqualification from the event without prizes, solely at the discretion of the Tournament Staff.

Select matches for this event may be streamed on a designated/one of our Official Twitch channels. Competitors playing in the event may live stream the event from their own POV as well (and are strongly encouraged to do so!) By registering for this event, you agree that we may live re-broadcast your live stream from our designated Twitch channels and Shout-cast any game-play during the course of the event, as well as create VODs of this Content, which we may choose to make available on our official Youtube channels and other platforms, so others may marvel at your awesome plays (or epic fails!)

ALL DECISIONS BY THE TOURNAMENT ADMINISTRATOR OF THIS EVENT ARE FINAL.
