King of the Sea IX: North America

King of the Sea is the premier competitive organization for World of Warships. The format of the event is Tier X ships, 9v9, with limits on the amount of carriers and battleships a team can field.

This event is a four-day tournament that consists of the following rounds:

(ALL TIMES EDT)

+ Day 1 - Qualifiers (Sunday, October 6 - 3PM)
Non-seeded teams will pariticpate in 7 rounds of swiss style play, once on each map. The top 24 teams will advance to the group stage. Expected duration: 3.5-4.5 hours

+ Day 2 - Group Stage (Saturday, October 12- 3PM)
Thirty-two (32) teams (24 qualifiers + 8 seeded teams) will compete in a round-robin group stage consisting of three (3) best of 3 matches. Expected duration: 5 hours.

+ DAY 3 - Elimination Stage (Sunday, October 13 - 3PM)
Sixteen (16) teams from the Group Stage will advance to a series of single-elimination matches. The Round of 16, Quarterfinals, and Semifinals will take place on this day. Expected duration: 6 hours.

+ DAY 4 - Final Four - (Saturday, October 19 - 4PM)
The remaining 4 teams will contest the finals and third place matches in a best of 5 format. Expected duration: 5 hours.

+ DAY 5 - International Final (Sunday October 20 - Time TBD) The top 3 teams from North America will clash with the top 3 teams from Europe in a round robin format.

2nd - 4,000 Steel + 4,000 Doubloons
3rd - 3,500 Steel + 2,500 Doubloons
4th - 3,000 Steel + 1,500 Doubloons
5th to 8th (Quarterfinalists) - 2,500 Steel + 750 Doubloons
9th to 16th (Round of 16)- 2,000 Steel + 1,000 Doubloons
17th to 32nd (Group Stage) - 1,000 Doubloons
33rd to 44th (Quals 25-36) - 500 Doubloons
All Participants - 5 FTW camouflages
