Tournament Rules and Regulations
1. Tournament Format:

Group Stage (Round Robin):
Each team plays against every other team in their group.
Matches are scheduled evenly across specified dates.
Matches are played in a best-of-one format.
Map Pool: All official Valorant maps are available for tournament play.
Map selection: Each team selects one map from the available pool; no map can be repeated by a team throughout the group stage.
Points awarded: Win (3 points), Tie (1 point each), Loss (0 points).
Tiebreakers: Head-to-head result, round difference, total rounds won.

Knockout Stage:

Quarterfinals:
Matches are played in a best-of-one format.
Overtime rules apply in case of a tie.
Map selection involves each team selecting one map from the available pool, with no map repeats.

Semifinals:
Matches are played in a best-of-three format (Bo3).
Overtime rules apply in case of a tie.
Map selection involves teams alternately banning maps until three maps remain, with the higher-seeded team picking the first map.

Finals:
Matches are played in a best-of-three format (Bo3).
Overtime rules apply in case of a tie.
Map selection involves teams alternately banning maps until three maps remain, with the higher-seeded team picking the first map.

2. Match Rules:

General:
Matches must start on time as per the schedule.
Teams must be present and ready 15 minutes before the scheduled match time.
If a team is not available for a timely start, even with substitutes, the match will be considered a walkover, and winning points will be awarded to the opponents.
The maximum duration to hold the match before a walkover is 20 minutes.
Dropouts during matches will be considered for a grace time of 2 minutes, separate from the tactical timeout.
Server settings: Mumbai.
A stable internet connection is required.

3. Player Eligibility and Roster:

Each team must consist of five main players and up to two substitutes.
Substitutes can only be changed between stages with approval from tournament organizers.
All players must have valid Riot Games accounts with access to Valorant.
Minimum account level required: 30+.

4.Single Team Registration:

Players are only allowed to register with one team for the duration of the tournament. Any player found registering with multiple teams will be disqualified, along with the teams they attempted to register with.
Team captains must ensure that all players are not registered in any other team for the tournament. Duplicate entries will result in immediate disqualification.

5. Conduct and Fair Play:

Players must exhibit good sportsmanship and respect towards opponents and tournament officials.
Cheating, including but not limited to using hacks or exploiting bugs, will result in immediate disqualification (DQ) from the tournament.
Matches involving a disqualified team will be forfeited, awarding points to the opponent.

6. Technical Issues:

In case of technical difficulties (e.g., server issues, disconnections), the tournament organizer's decision on match resolution is final.
Both teams must report issues promptly to organizers for resolution.

7. Broadcast and Streaming:

Teams may stream their matches with a minimum delay of 120 seconds on their channel.
The tournament management is not responsible for stream sniping incidents if the delay guideline is not followed.
Penalties for not following streaming guidelines: Win = 2 points, Loss = -1 points, Tie = 0 points.

8. Amendments and Updates:

Tournament rules are subject to change or updates by tournament organizers.
Teams will be notified of any amendments before they take effect.

9. Prize Distribution:

Winners, Runners-Up, and 3rd place teams will receive prizes.
8 MVP awards will be given, starting from the quarterfinal stage.
Prize details will be provided separately by organizers.
Distribution is based on final standings and may be subject to tax regulations.
Prize Distribution Requirement
• Winners must attend a Google Meet session with the organizers after the tournament concludes.
• This session is mandatory for verification purposes before prize distribution.
• Failure to attend may result in disqualification from receiving the prize.

This rule applies to all teams and participants.
