Tournament rules

Please read the following rules of the Splatoon 2 European Championship 2019/2020.

SOME IMPORTANT POINTS:
- The team captain must be present on the Splatoon 2 community https://discord.gg/awGPuqS an hour before the tournament to check-in.

There will be a team captain channel on or Discord server and from there you can exchange friends codes with the rest of the team captains.

- All participating players must be at least 7 years of age by the online qualification tournament date. Winning teams from the 4 online qualifications should be ready to travel to the Nordic Final in person by beginning of Dec 2019 (valid passport needed), and if any member of the teams are under 18yrs of age by the Nordic Final date, make sure they're ready to participate on stage or on camera as we may be capturing photos or live streaming! (we will require Guardian’s consent on the date, either parent or proxy)

- All matches except for the finals will be played as Bo5, while the finals will be played as Bo7.

- Spectator mode is strictly reserved for the tournament organisers.
